So what is it that has attracted these accolades?

Why the Muvman is different to other stools
When you first see the Muvman it looks a little odd.

Muvman Stool In Use

For a start the seat doesn’t appear vertical. Thi’s is due to it being angled 4 degrees forwards. And there’s a good reason for this.

As it’s intended for working at higher than normal work surfaces it makes it more stable.

This is because it places the user’s weight to the front of their body.

This helps stability due to your feet being wider apart forming a triangular support with the seat’s main upright.

It’s also good for you too.

How it is healthier in use
It’s slightly forward leaning sitting posture places the body in a healthy open position. Instead of there being a right angle between legs and body like a normal chair your whole body is opened up. This helps with better circulation and muscle use.

And for raised surface working it’s far better than many alternatives.

What makes it’s good for height adjustable desk working?
As already pointed out it’s very stable which is important when working at a higher level. However the other good thing about it is the way it works.

Unlike many seats Muvman doesn’t have any casters and has a fixed base instead. This doesn’t limit you when moving around your workspace though. As well as moving forwards and backwards it also moves from side to side too. This gives a good overall reach around your work area, maintaining stability as you move.

All in all the Aeris Muvman stool is a great way of working at an adjustable height desk or other forms of raised work surface.
