For anyone who needs push button electrical control and doesn't have lots of space, these single column electric height adjustable desks from Fully (previously Ergo Depot), offer a great solution.
Let’s take a look at what makes them appealing for certain types of user.
Who can benefit from these desks?
This range of single column pedestal units offers a wide choice of top shapes and sizes, with the smallest being just 23.5” by 23.5” on the AD119C model making it ideal for anyone stuck for space.
Not only that, as the whole range is supported on a single electrically operated rear leg support there aren't extra vertical legs to get in the way.
And for anyone with a spare wall models like the AD119W can be fixed directly to it.
Another useful feature is they all have excellent weight carrying capacity, so the single leg can handle your equipment comfortably.
Moving on it’s time to consider what other flexibility the range offers.
Probably the biggest advantage of the different desks in this extensive range is the flexibility of the available options. Many of the tops are common for each type of leg support.
First, you have the static single pedestal support and these rely on floor level support members for stability. However they are unlikely to obstruct users as they are compact or splayed outwards and so don't encroach on your standing space.
And naturally the wall mounted units only have the single column upright giving a beautifully clean look to the desk.
So if you have wall space available this is a great way to go.
There's even an option on the AD119B to make it mobile by adding locking casters.
Useful when you need to move your desk around your office. And for true portability this variant includes the option of adding a rechargeable battery for working anywhere.
In all, there are six models in the range, here are the different options.
Product range and technical details.
The AD17 has a degree of portability thanks to a single swivel caster to the front of the pedestal at the base. By raising the front of the desk slightly the unit can then be moved and repositioned. Stability is provided by two angled front support legs with leveling feet. There are 4 top styles available – heart, small and medium rectangle and wide angle.
Next there’s the AD119C, in its standard form it’s a static unit with a choice of 3 very compact tops. This desk will support up to 220lbs in weight.
And to increase its flexibility, there are options to add heavy duty casters and also a rechargeable battery, making it ultra portable.
Its cousin the AD119B is slightly different as the base support struts are angled outwards.
Additionally it has a range of 7 different top shapes to choose from, click here to see the options under the dimensions tab.
So much for the freestanding desks, the AD17W is the first of the wall mounting models. This has a low profile triangular shaped height adjusting leg and a choice of 3 tops, small and medium rectangle and one with cut out to front edge. Each is capable of supporting 155lbs.
The other wall mounted unit is the AD119W and is similar to the AD17W as it has the same 3 top options. However thanks to the box section leg it can support up to 220lbs.
Lastly, the range is completed by as very stylish looking freestanding unit the AD119D.
It has a very elegant crescent shaped support at the base giving nearly 4 feet of unrestricted space.
It includes the option for a battery pack and has a range of 6 top shapes with 220lbs weight capacity.
Any of these desks can be specified in a frame only option making it possible to use a custom made top if desired. Every model comes in either black or silver frame finish with either a beech or maple top.
All models include a 2 year warranty on the motor and 5 years on the desk frame.
These compact single leg electrically operated work tables from Fully offer a broad range of styles enabling many to find the best solution for their requirements.
They will be of particular interest for anyone needing to find a raisable desk for use in a tight space. And for those with space the two wall mounting models make a very elegant solution.
It would be nice to see a longer warranty on the motors, however this is fairly common with these sorts of products. And in any case spares are easy to get hold of in the unlikely event of a problem.
This comprehensive range is sure to appeal to a wide variety of potential users seeking push button height adjustability.
